Double double #65

Here we are, back again after another busy week, and what better way to get an insight into our lives than 10 minutes of weekly Q&A with us in the form of the double double!

Two things you’ve done this week?
JK: Spent half the week in New York and half the week sleeping!
THB: The second half of our New York trip was absolutely amazing(we definitely were very sad to leave!), and we celebrated one of friends birthdays with a brunch in Brixton this morning.

Two things that were great this week?
JK: spending lots of time with my friend Ella that has moved to New York (the reason we went over), and being showered in love from people over our engagement.
THB: Being able to tell the everyone that we got engaged! Asking Jess to marry me is without a doubt the best thing I have ever done in my life. Our final meal in Manhattan with one of our best friends at the quintessential New York pizzeria John’s of Bleeker street(followed by one last trip up to the top Rockefeller plaza to take in the night time view) was a perfect way to end the trip.

Two challenges you faced?
JK: Jet lag has been a real issue this week, and completely wiped me out, and making sure I’m fit and healthy for a lot of planning!
THB: Having done an enormous amount of travelling in my life I have luckily never really suffered with jet lag, however, this week has been a real struggle since getting back! Also, ever increasing baldness.

Two things to add to your to-do list next week?
JK: Get lots of work done, and see lots of friends!
THB: Chase up a couple of potentially very exciting job leads, and meet with my lawyer to discuss a couple of exciting things we have in the pipeline for my band Slowlines!
