Double double #64

Here we are, back again after another busy week, and what better way to get an insight into our lives than 10 minutes of weekly Q&A with us in the form of the double double!

Two things you’ve done this week?
JK: Went out with some friends around London looking at tributes left to dead musicians which was cool and then we flew to New York!
THB: On Monday evening we went to easy London to see Ruby Wax and Simon Amstel in conversation about both of their respective new books. At silly o’clock on Thursday morning we flew to one of my favourite places in the world, New York City!

Two things that were great this week?
JK: New York has been amaaaaaazing and the Q&A with Simon Amstell and Ruby Wax was great too!
THB: We are still in NYC for a few days, but so far we have seen Jess’s friend Ella(who moved out here a few months ago) and it’s been so awesome to hang out with her in her new home city, and earlier today we experienced the view from the one world observatory at the new World Trade Center building which was absolutely breathtaking.

Two challenges you faced?
JK: The FREEZING temperatures and not wanting to go home!
THB: Amazingly, Jet-lag hasn’t been too bad at all. Also a few bits of social politics have been challenging.

Two things to add to your to-do list next week?
JK: Keep seeing more of New York City and work hard when I get home!
THB: Make the most of our time here, and wear long-johns. It’s FREEZING IN NYC!
