Here we are, back again after another busy week, and what better way to get an insight into our lives than 10 minutes of weekly Q&A with us in the form of the double double!
Two things you’ve done this week?
JK: It’s been a lovely week of seeing family and friends, and we went to the cinema to see First Man which was simply wonderful!
THB: This week I have mainly been on my backside and had a dreadful cold, feeling like I’ve been gargling gravel. On the plus, seeing first man in the cinema at 10am was AMAZING, and getting up at 6am to take some Christmassy shots around London was brilliant.
Two things that were great this week?
JK: Brian Cox and Robin Ince’s Christmas Compendium of Reason was as brilliant as ever (we go every year!) and Blogosphere Festival was also brilliant, really insightful and full of very friendly people, in a beautiful location!
THB: Finding a new drummer for my band Slowlines, and the new The 1975 album!
Two challenges you faced?
JK: Reading; doing it for fun is easy, for a PhD is difficult! And also waiting on unpaid invoices is utterly rubbish .
THB: Being ill! Easily the worst cold I’ve had in a long while. The adidas website logging me out twice when I was frantically trying to buy the new Yeezy 500’s.
Two things to add to your to-do list next week?
JK: Finish my literature review (as I didn’t manage last week) and make sure I fully document the exciting week we have ahead!
THB: Go to the gym regularly, and start AND finish Christmas shopping.
