Double Double #52

We can’t quite believe we’ve got to this point, but this is the 52nd double double! An entire year of Four Thousand Weeks and we couldn’t be happier to have our regulars with us and to be welcoming new readers every week, thank you so much for reading! Without further ado here we are, back again after another busy week, and what better way to get an insight into our lives than 10 minutes of weekly Q&A with us in the form of the double double!

Two things you’ve done this week?
JK: We went to the Bohemian Rhapsody Premiere which was amazing, and I went to see Tim play with his band slowlines on Wednesday.
THB: We went to the INCREDIBLE Frida Kahlo exhibition at the V&A on Monday evening, and attended the world premiere of the new Queen and Freddie Mercury movie Bohemian Rhapsody, right on our doorstep at Wembley arena.

Two things that were great this week?
JK: Dinner at the Winter Garden on Monday after the amazing Frida Kahlo exhibition, and immersive Gatsby in Bermondsey.
THB: We player the first Slowlines show in about 6 months this week and my goodness it was fun! I really felt like I needed that show. After the Frida Kahlo exhibition I took JK for dinner at the truly unbelievable Winter Garden restaurant in the Landmark hotel in Marylebone(thank you Bookatable). The food and the setting were absolutely spectacular.

Two challenges you faced?
JK: Trying to fit only two things into the above two points – did an amazing cocktail escape room this week and saw some lovely friends; I’ve also had two migraines this week. Nightmare.
THB: I had the second of four job interviews to work at Apple this week, that was rather intense! Also confidence issues with my ability after accepting an audition for a new session job.

Two things to add to your to-do list next week?
JK: Finish re-doing the living room and bathroom without spending much money, and have a fabulous week celebrating anniversaries of all sorts (blog and us really).
THB: Celebrate mine and Jess’s anniversary in the only way I know how(being a soppy over the top romantic), and practice guitar a lot more.
