Here we are, back again after another busy week, and what better way to get an insight into our lives than 10 minutes of weekly Q&A with us in the form of the double double!
Two things you’ve done this week?
JK: worked loads, and went to see our first wedding venue!
THB: Visited a friend of ours and her amazing new baby boy in Royal Tunbridge Wells, and had a fantastic and strangely thought provoking time at the ‘Good Grief: Charlie Brown’ exhibition at Somerset House.
Two things that were great this week?
JK: Visiting my friends beautiful baby, and getting to go to the Lush factory with Zoe!
THB: Meeting our friends baby was the absolute highlight for! For some unknown reason I have been incredibly broody all week, and hanging out with this amazing little man really sealed the deal(I felt so much more comfortable holding a new born baby than I ever imagined I would!). Also, watching Watford beat Leicester was awesome, I haven’t been to a home game in what feels like ages and it was SO good being back in our seats.
Two challenges you faced?
JK: Migraines are just pants aren’t they! Also trying to get that work life balance sorted.
THB: Keeping Morale high with music. It’s an extraordinarily up and down thing to do to be a musician, and we all have meltdowns from time to time. Luckily these are balanced out by creating something amazing or playing a great show! Jess has been a bit under the weather of late, and I can see the frustration and on occasion pain in her eyes when she isn’t feeling great. Nothing in the world breaks my heart more than not being able to help if she isn’t feeling well or is unhappy, but luckily she said yes so I can at least spend the rest of my life trying my absolute hardest!
Two things to add to your to-do list next week?
JK: Plan what we want to see in Sri Lanka (any tips?) And finish my second PhD chapter!
THB: Practice guitar a lot for a potential now job, and finish planning stuff for her birthday soon!
