Double double #29

Back again here at the end of another week, we’re here with our way of helping you get to know what we’ve been up to a bit more. What better way to get an insight into our lives than 10 minutes spent with us!

Two things you’ve done this week?

JK: A LOT of work. Viva exam season. I also took Tim to the Albert Hall on Saturday night!

THB: 3 very intense but thoroughly enjoyable days of rehearsal at the start of the week with a new band before our first show together tomorrow, and the incredible space spectacular at the RAH thanks to JK last night!

Two things that were great this week?

JK: Space Spectacular at the Albert Hall and exploring West London with Tim and our friend Holly.

THB: Playing music almost constantly, and  a lovely date day(with the added bonus of our friend Holly) in west London, where we went to the Saatchi gallery, a stroll through Brompton cemetery, and some delicious cheese and wine at the London cheesemonger in Chelsea.

Two challenges you faced?

JK: Workload and working out how to make use of my summer this year!

THB: Arriving at our rehearsal studio in Wandsworth on Wednesday morning to find the room full of smoke because of some very careless and flamethrower wielding(I know, almost unbelievable) builders nextdoor, losing a few hours of work time and initially thinking all our gear was destroyed! Being away from JK for a lot of this week, made particularly difficult by knowing how intense and hard work has been for her at the moment.

Two things to add to your to-do list next week?

JK: Make sure I get to the gym and check out the Museums at Night festival!

THB: Make as much as possible to be with JK and the bat pig whilst staying on top of musical commitments.
