Double double #98 / #99

Here we are, back again after another very busy couple of weeks, and what better way to get an insight into our lives than 10 minutes of weekly(or occasionally fortnightly!) Q&A with us in the form of a double double-double!

Two things you’ve done this week?

JK: Went to a wicked book launch and to National Theatre live at the cinema! An amazing clothes swap with some lovely ladies and went to a local food market.

THB: Went to an amazing book Launch Event in Hackney for the third book from Author Robyn Travis, and been quite up against it at work due to the rest of my department ALL being away! Made sure everything is all prepared for our recording session this week and celebrated the new building I work at being opened properly!

Two things that were great this week?

JK: The book launch for Robyn Travis’s book was amazing, with lots of life lessons and surprise guests. I also got to see my work bestie back from New York! Hanging out with Zoe all day Tuesday and Corinne all day Thursday, it was exactly what I needed!

THB: The First rehearsal with the new band I am playing for was brilliant, and we had the most delicious Greek meal in Primrose Hill with four more of our best friends. Getting to try the food at the new restaurant where I work was awesome, and having a delicious truffle risotto  for dinner with Jess’s Dad was lovely.

Two challenges you faced?

JK: Lots of work and not enough time. Also knowing that I’ve got an exam coming up very soon and have to submit loads of work and my grandpa being very unwell.

THB: Seeing Jess struggle with certain things and not knowing what the right thing to do is, and wrestling with certain issues at work. Also worrying about Jess’s grandpa being unwell, he is an incredible man that I care for very much.

Two things to add to your to-do list next week?

JK: Get ready for my first exam and go and see my grandpa lots. Submit all my work for my first viva and plan a date day for when Tim is home!

THB: Go to the studio and record our best songs yet(and whilst trying to use the crappy WiFi to FaceTime her each day, make Jess proud!), and plan a winter European city break with my queen
