Here we are, back again after another busy week, and what better way to get an insight into our lives than 10 minutes of weekly Q&A with us in the form of the double double!
Two things you’ve done this week?
JK:I’ve started my PhD research which has been eye opening, and have been cat sitting!
THB: Performed a showcase for Slowlines, and we released a new single! (Listen here – http://smarturl.it/OnAWave)
Two things that were great this week?
JK: Tim has been great, so him, and my friend Lisa ran the marathon in 3:46 which is AMAZING and far greater than anything I’ve done this week
THB: Performing new songs live for the first time was such a great feeling, particularly when very well respected and experienced industry people in the room for it. Jess’s Grandpa Peter(a man I have the utmost admiration for, I am very proud to know him) was allowed out of the hospital for two hours for his birthday dinner, it was a whirlwind of Greek takeaway and chocolate matzoh cake and it was a joy to share they with him and Jess’s family.
Two challenges you faced?
JK: My grandparents have been very unwell, and both of them have been in hospital so that is both my challenges.
THB: As Jess said, her grandparents have been really unwell, and that itself has been difficult, but seeing Jess is so upset is the hardest thing in the world. She is doing amazingly well at balancing all of the stresses and challenges in her life at the moment and I am so proud of her.
Two things to add to your to-do list next week?
JK: Have an amazing time in Malta with the legendary Zoe London, and try and smash some deadlines!
THB: Go to chiswick and do the Fullers brewery tour all day on Wednesday with my Dad, and get the new Slowlines video finished with our creative director.
