Double double #50

It’s quite unbelievable that in two weeks we will have been posting for a whole year! Until then we’re back again after another busy week, and what better way to get an insight into our lives than 10 minutes of weekly Q&A with us in the form of the double double!

Two things you’ve done this week?
JK:
I went to the theatre twice and have been cat sitting for the beautiful Barney and Freddie! Kings among cats.
THB: We went to the Tate modern on Saturday to see the Shape of Light and Magic Realism(art in Weimar Germany) exhibitions which were both brilliant. I also Sorted our all the logistics of the next Slowlines show which is super exciting! Unfortunately for us we operate in a way that takes a lot of organising to get a show together but the work will certainly be worth it.

Two things that were great this week?
JK: A fun day out on Saturday doing an escape room, some art and celebrating my beautiful friend Leah’s birthday, and Hamilton. Oh my god.
THB: Having a cocktail in what is officially the worlds best cocktail bar Dandelyan on the river in central London, and heading down to sussex to see my parents and have a celebratory birthday dinner with my wonderful mum.

Two challenges you faced?
JK: Posture when working for long periods of time and keeping abreast of my mind.
THB: When I was down at my parents house I decided to finally go through a lot of old boxes and bags and uncovered a few things that were very emotional. Not mentioning politics over dinner with my parents.

Two things to add to your to-do list next week?
JK: Inspire some young minds on a trip to Auschwitz-Birkenau and get some work finished!
THB: Start listing things on eBay for the big clear out, and get everything absolutely prepared for our next gig!
