It’s been a big week this week celebrating Jess’s birthday! At the end of her brilliant birthday weekend, what better way to get an insight into each other’s weeks than to spend 10 minutes with each other talking about the Double Double, done by us both!
Two things you’ve done this week?
JK: Played Junkyard Gold with my mum for her birthday and got loads of work done so I could have the weekend off.
THB: Celebrated Jess’s birthday all weekend, and asked to go part time at work to focus on music(and had loads of quality time with the bat pig).
Two things that were great this week?
JK: I’ve been thoroughly spoilt for my birthday and had the chance to see so many friends that battled the mini beast from the East to come and see me to celebrate.
THB: Spoilling JK for her birthday and seeing how overwhelmed she was by the love that so many people have showed her this week. Her brothers both DJing her party was so good too!
Two challenges you faced?
JK: Party anxiety and being able to express how grateful I am about everything people have done for me.
THB: Getting all of Jess’s presents and birthday bits ready in time with a couple of things not turning up in time, and struggling with accepting Jess’s families generosity.
Two things to add to your to-do list next week?
JK: Plan Barcelona and make sure I’m ready for when tim goes away.
THB: As JK said, look at planning out Barcelona trip, and work on learning some more songs for the new band I have joined!
