This week we have seen each other much less than usual with JK being on half term and me being busy with band commitments and working a lot! So as always, what better way to get an insight into each other’s weeks than to spend 10 minutes with each other talking about the Double Double, done by us both!
Two things you’ve done this week?
JK: Had half term and explored lots of galleries I’ve never been to and had a lovely day out in West London!
THB: The most textbook of weeks, worked all week and had an amazing weekend with JK!
Two things that were great this week?
JK: A fancy meal out on Thursday with THB and letting him take control of the organising for our sunny London date day!
THB: Taking JK to one of our favourite restaurants in London, Brasserie Zedel to celebrate our 3rd day after Valentine’s Day together(we NEVER do anything on the day). I played a surprisingly great show in the midlands on Tuesday night, our first as Slowlines since the name change.
Two challenges you faced?
JK: Learning how the Instagram algorithm works ans affects our posts, and trying to cram in as much as I could to my week off whilst trying to rest!
THB: Taking control of the weekend! It felt great to sort everything out and give JK the weekend she deserves though. Still dealing with all the admin issues and other crap that has come along with my band having to change its name and avoid getting sued over it!
Two things to add to your to-do list next week?
JK: Hit the ground running first week back at work, and sort out where to take my gorgeous mum for her birthday dinner!
THB: Be more efficient at home, and learn songs for the new band I start playing with properly on Friday.
