Here we are, back again after another busy couple of weeks, and what better way to get an insight into our lives than 10 minutes of weekly Q&A with us in the form of the double double-double. Merry Christmas and a happy new year!

Two things you’ve done this week?
JK: Tim cooked an amazing roast for his parents and we had a lovely early Christmas, and I finally got around to seeing my girlfriends!
THB: We went to the see the immersive Gatsby, and had fake Christmas with my parents before they go on holiday.
Two things that were great this week?
JK: Immersive Gatsby was insane, and makes us so grateful for the things we can experience, and I went to see White Christmas with my mum and it was so good!
THB: Immersive Gatsby was INCREDIBLE(as was bumping in to Jess’s cousins while we were there!), having not read the book or seen the movie before I loved the story and can’t wait to read it. Finishing work for Christmas, two whole weeks off!
Two challenges you faced?
JK: Keeping on top of PhD work whilst making sure I can do all my work commitments.
THB: Finding enough time to do everything and see everyone.
Two things to add to your to-do list next week?
JK: theatre time again and see if we can get to the Tate in time for the Olafur exhibition.
THB: Family Christmas with Jess’s family, and a Boxing Day date day!

Two things you’ve done this week?
JK: Gave notice of our marriage and spent lots of time with family.
THB: As Jess said, giving notice of marriage(it’s properly real now!) and spending time together and with Jess’s family.
Two things that were great this week?
JK: Our date day at the Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition and then ice skating and our boxing day date day at the theatre and zedel!
THB: Both date days were amazing, and really festive! Watching Watford play a full game of genuinely brilliant football for the first time in ages was also a joy.
Two challenges you faced?
JK: Trying to ensure I can see people and not spend more than I earn, and trying to relax with the guilt of how much I have to do.
THB: The guilt of Christmas gluttony, and being sensible financially.
Two things to add to your to-do list next week?
JK: Reach another wedding planning milestone and a Suffolk staycation!
THB: See my Dad for lunch and a tour of Highgate cemetery, and enjoy seeing in the new year in a very relaxed and happy way.
