9 weeks into fourthousandweeks and it’s Christmas Eve 2017. WHEN DID THAT HAPPEN?! It’s been a crazy year both good and bad so let’s enjoy the last bit and catch up on how we’ve been seeing it out. What better way to get an insight into each other’s weeks than to spend 10 minutes with each other talking about the Double Double, done by us both!
Two things you’ve done this week?
JK: I’ve read so much, so many books! I’ve also been to a few exhibitions around London!
THB: We just came back from spending a couple of days in sussex for Christmas round 1 with my family, decided to skip reading my current book and watch making a murderer at any available opportunity.
Two things that were great this week?
JK: Seeing pals and soending time with Tim’s family and not being at work (fully aware that technically that’s three).
THB: Jess and I openeded our Christmas presents just now, SHE GOT ME A LETTER FROM GOD HIMSELF(see picture below, I nearly cried). Spending time with my family down south and eating my mum’s amazing Christmas dinner.
Two challenges you faced?
JK: Not worrying about work when I should be chilling out and learning how to make perfect roast potatoes as they’re my responsibility for Christmas Day!
THB: Trying not to let it show when feeling incredibly emotional and missing an old friend whilst driving through parts of Brighton I grew up in and haven’t seen for years. Being able to not do anything at my parents house because my mum refuses to let anyone help her cook!
Two things to add to your to-do list next week?
JK: Buy myself a desk for the flat so i have somewhere to do my work and finish planning our Dublin trip!
THB: Learning some songs for a potentially very exciting new project, and reading some of the books on my enourmous “to read” list.
