Double double #33

Happy father’s day on this, the thirty third instalment of the double double. As you may know by now, it’s that time of the week where we’re here with our way of helping you get to know what we’ve been up to a bit a bit better. What better way to get an insight into our lives than 10 minutes spent with us!

Two things you’ve done this week?

JK: Went to see Space Shambles at the Royal Albert Hall that was so great, and my brother came over to cook us dinner which was fab.

THB: Went to visit my family down south today for Father’s Day and had a brilliant Sunday roast, and met u with a mate from Byron Bay who I first toured with nearly a decade ago over in Australia! It was so great catching up.

Two things that were great this week?

JK: Haim at Ally Pally were phenomenal, and I did an incredibly fun scavenger hunt around London with my friends.

THB: Of course, seeing Haim at Alexandra palace was absolutely brilliant, and receiving an email from Coldplay’s fifth member Phil Harvey saying that my band Slowlines is “really fucking great”.

Two challenges you faced?

JK: I’ve had one of those weeks where I don’t have enough hours in the day, and all my students’ exams finished!

THB: Maintaining focus when things seem impossibly challenging in my musical endeavours, and trying to find a new physiotherapist in north west London that isn’t absolutely extortionate!

Two things to add to your to-do list next week?

JK: Catch up with friends and see my grandparents.

THB: Smash all meetings I have in the first half of the week and try and either go swimming or do yoga every day!
