Double Double #55

Here we are, back again after another busy week, and what better way to get an insight into our lives than 10 minutes of weekly Q&A with us in the form of the double double!

Two things you’ve done this week?
JK: We saw Fantastic Beasts 2 on Wednesday in a double bill screening and the cast came on to introduce the second film, and I took 200 students to Poland for the day to visit Auschwitz-Birkenau.
THB: This week I applied for a new job in Music Publishing(exciting and nerve-racking in equal measure) and saw a large portion of JK’s family for her Grandma’s 92’nd(!!!) birthday.

Two things that were great this week?
JK: Seeing Sigrid live at Brixton Academy was so brilliant, and seeing Jeff Goldblum and the Mildred Snitzer Orchestra at Cadogan Hall was amaaaaaaaaaazing!
THB: It would have to be the same two things as JK, seeing Sigrid deliver an absolute masterclass in pop at brixton academy, and the one and only Jeff Goldblum perform an evening if incredibly jazz songs and his signature of silky smooth banter.

Two challenges you faced?
JK: Being poorly and trying to fit everything in to a 24 hour day!
THB: Confidence issues with applying for jobs, and the typical existential dread of feeling directionless at 31.

Two things to add to your to-do list next week?
JK: Plan a superb walk for Sunday and start getting in the Christmas spirit!
THB: Make things happen with Slowlines, read more.
